STATEMENT
“This practice is about pausing, noticing and celebrating the imprint of being. It grounds, restores perspective and honours what already is. Empowerment begins when we feel safe to take up space.”
BIOGRAPHY
Bethany Perry is a multidisciplinary artist working between West Berkshire and London. Her practice focuses on tactile impressions made directly with the human body, using sensory processes and meaningful materials to record presence, self-recognition and care. Her work is rooted in the calming effects of deep pressure stimulation, helping participants reconnect with their bodies. Formerly in the fashion and makeup industries, she now centres raw, unfiltered beauty over imposed ideals. Her work has been exhibited across the UK, including The Curtain Club at Mondrian, Wimbledon Art Studios, Nova Fine Art and the Affordable Art Fair.
