STATEMENT

“The work bubbles, its cells weaving freely in and out of each other like the organism they compose.” His practice fused activism, collage and graphic design to create a distinct visual language of dissent.

BIOGRAPHY

Jamie Reid was a British visual artist whose work defined the graphic language of UK punk. He created the legendary designs for the Sex Pistols, including Never Mind the Bollocks and “God Save the Queen.” His cut-and-paste typography and defaced imagery became symbols of rebellion and anti-establishment critique. His work is held in MoMA, Tate Modern and major global collections.
